Outbound phone numbers in PXME allow your practice to make calls and send messages directly from the system. This creates a professional and trusted presence for patient communication, reminders, outreach, and marketing campaigns. You can choose between local numbers for community trust or toll-free numbers for scalability and bulk messaging.


Step 1: Navigate to Phone Number Settings

  • Go to Settings > Phone Numbers in your PXME dashboard.

  • This is where you manage, add, or configure all of your practice’s phone numbers.


Step 2: Click Add Number

  • Select the Add Number button to begin the process of acquiring a new outbound number.


Step 3: Choose and Buy a Number

  • Select Country – Choose the country where you’d like your number to be based.

  • Filter Options – Narrow down your search by digits, phrases, number type (local, mobile, toll-free), or capabilities (voice, SMS, MMS).

  • Pick Your Number – Browse and select the number that best fits your practice’s needs.


Step 4: Confirm Your Purchase

  • Once you’ve chosen your number, click Proceed to Buy.

  • Your new outbound number will now be available for calls, SMS, and automations inside PXME.
