Overview
While PXME calendars are designed around your set availability, there may be times when you need to schedule appointments outside of those standard hours. The Override Availability feature allows you to manually create bookings that bypass normal scheduling rules. This ensures flexibility for handling urgent requests, exceptions, or special accommodations without permanently altering your calendar settings.
Step 1: Accessing the Calendar
Go to the Calendar section in PXME.
Use the dropdown menu to select the calendar where you want to add the appointment.
Step 2: Creating the Appointment
Click + New Appointment in the top-right corner.
Select the Contact for whom you’re creating the appointment.
Enter the appointment details (date, time, location, etc.).
Click Save Appointment.
Your new appointment will appear on the calendar at the chosen time—even if it falls outside your standard availability. You can click into the appointment anytime to edit or delete it.
FAQs
Q1: Can I schedule an appointment outside my regular availability?
Yes. You can manually book outside your set working hours. For example, if your calendar is set for 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, you can still create an appointment at 5:00 PM for a client.
Q2: How do I access the right calendar to schedule an appointment?
Navigate to the Calendar section and use the dropdown menu to select the correct calendar before creating the appointment.
