Overview

Calendar settings in PXME are designed to simplify availability management and integrate with tools such as Google Calendars, Outlook, Zoom, Stripe, and Google Ads. These settings are especially useful when working with Group Calendars (Round Robin Calendars), where user availability and primary calendar connections are critical. Unassigned calendars are also affected by these settings, and you can customize the week view directly from this area.

This guide walks you through the settings interface and key considerations when managing calendars in PXME.

Flexible Reordering of Booking Widget Steps

  • PXME allows you to reorder the steps in your booking widget, giving more control over the booking process.

  • This ensures you can collect important lead information, even if the appointment is not completed or payment fails.

How to Reorder:

  1. Go to Calendar Settings → select your calendar → Forms & Payments.

  2. Rearrange the order of the Date & Time Selector and Form steps.

  3. The Payment step always remains last.

  4. Save your changes.

Calendar Descriptions with Rich Text Editor

  • Enhance calendar descriptions with formatting, images, or links to create visually appealing and informative content.

How to Edit:

  1. Navigate to Calendar Settings → Meeting Details.

  2. Use the rich text editor tools to format your description.

  3. Save changes to update the booking widget.

How to Delete a Group:

  1. Go to Calendar Settings → Calendars → Group Tab.

  2. Click the three dots next to the group → Delete.

  3. Check/uncheck the box to retain or delete calendars.

Account Preference vs User Preference

Account Preference:

  • Choose the start day of the week for calendar views.

  • Select booking widget language and time format.

  • Adjust the booking widget’s week start day.

User Preference:

  • Add custom meeting locations (Zoom, phone, physical address, Google Meet).

Connections Tab

The Connections Tab includes integrations for calendars, video conferencing, and Google services.

  • Calendars: Connect third-party calendars (Google, Outlook, etc.) to sync appointments and prevent double bookings.

  • Video Conferencing: Automatically generate unique Zoom or Google Meet links for appointments.

  • Google Organic Booking: Allow clients to book directly from your Google Business Profile (appears within 24–48 hours).

  • Local Services Ads (LSA): Generate leads directly from Google ads for eligible industries (Home Services, Legal, Real Estate). Ensure company name and address match your LSA account.

Availability Settings

  • Availability plays a critical role in Group Calendars. PXME checks the availability of group members before showing time slots in the booking widget.

  • Set your timezone under Calendar Settings.

  • Add additional timeframes for availability.

  • Use the Monday section to copy settings across all days.

Summary of Benefits

  • Customization: Reorder widget steps, add styled calendar descriptions, and set flexible group settings.

  • Integration: Sync with Google, Outlook, Zoom, Stripe, and more.
