Overview

The Connections Tab in PXME calendar settings centralizes how you link external tools—such as Google, Outlook, iCloud, Zoom, Stripe, and Google Ads—to your calendars. It helps prevent double-bookings, ensures smooth availability syncing, and automates meeting link creation. These settings are especially important for group calendars (Round Robin, Service, Class, and Collective), but may also apply to Event Calendars.

Calendar Types That Use Group Connections

The following calendars depend on shared user availability and connected accounts:

  • Round Robin Calendars

  • Service Calendars

  • Class Calendars

  • Collective Calendars

The Connections Tab: Sections and Functions

1. Calendars

  • Sync Google, Outlook, or iCloud calendars to:

    • Push PXME appointments to external calendars

    • Pull in external events to block time in PXME

    • Prevent double bookings automatically

  • Configuration in Group Calendars: Appointments assigned to users sync directly with that user’s connected calendar.

  • Private Mode for Synced Events: Hide details of synced events from others. Only the user who connected the calendar sees full details; teammates see the slot as blocked.

    • Enable at: My Profile > Calendar Settings > Connections

2. Video Conferencing

  • Automatically generate unique meeting links for appointments.

  • Supported platforms include Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.

  • Links are embedded in confirmations and reminders for clients.

3. Google Organic Booking

  • Lets clients schedule appointments directly from your Google Business Profile (GBP) without third-party booking platforms or ads.

  • Bookings flow straight into PXME calendars.

  • Updates can take 24–48 hours to appear on your GBP listing.

4. Local Services Ads (LSA)

  • Integration allows you to receive leads from Google LSA as calls and messages.

  • Requirements:

    • Supported only in the U.S.

    • Limited to Home Services, Legal, and Real Estate providers

    • Business Name and Address in PXME must exactly match your LSA account

    • “Reserve with Google” eligibility is required in your niche

5. Reconnect Integrations

  • Reconnect button resolves broken integrations caused by expired tokens or permission updates.

  • Preserves all settings—no need to delete and re-add.

  • Important: You must reconnect with the same account originally used; using a different account triggers an error.
