Overview

The Business Profile is one of the most important sections in your PXME settings. This is where you configure company details and account-wide preferences that impact messaging, workflows, compliance, and more. Setting this up correctly ensures smooth operations across your entire account.


Where to Find the Business Profile

  1. Log in to your PXME account.

  2. Click Settings in the bottom-left navigation.

  3. The Business Profile will be the first option on the left menu (default settings page).


General Information

  • Location ID – Unique account identifier (used for support troubleshooting).

  • Business Logo – Upload 350px x 180px (max 2.5MB). Appears on invoices, emails, etc.

  • Friendly Business Name – Display name in workflows and custom fields (e.g., {{location.name}}).

  • Legal Business Name – Your registered entity name.

  • Business Email – Used in workflows/messaging (e.g., {{location.email}}).

  • Business Phone – Main business phone (can match PXME number).

  • Branded Domain – Connect a subdomain (e.g., link.yourdomain.com) for calendars, forms, etc.

  • Business Website – Displayed in workflows and emails (e.g., {{location.website}}).

  • Business Niche – Select from dropdown.

  • API Key – Integrate PXME with other applications.

  • Update Information – Save changes after edits.


Business Physical Address

  • Required for business verification and compliance.

  • Used in email footers, social posts, and campaigns.

  • Should match EIN registration for SMS compliance.


Time Zone & Language

  • Time Zone – Controls scheduling for campaigns, workflows, and automations.

  • Platform Language – Sets the PXME interface language.

  • Outbound Communication Language – Defines default messaging language.

Supported Languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Polish, Hungarian, Danish.


Business Information

Critical for compliance and SMS approval:

  • Business Type – e.g., LLC, Corporation, Non-Profit.

  • Business Industry – Select your industry.

  • Business Registration ID Type – e.g., EIN, VAT.

  • Business Registration Number – Enter your ID.

  • Regions of Operation – Choose one or multiple.

  • Update Information – Save changes.


Authorized Representative

  • Enter details for the official representative of your business (if applicable).


General Settings

  • Allow Duplicate Opportunity – Toggle ON to allow multiple opportunities in one pipeline stage.

  • Merge Facebook Contacts by Name – Helps prevent duplicate Messenger contacts.

  • Disable Contact Timezone – Forces all contacts to use account time zone (not recommended).

  • Mark Emails as Invalid on Hard Bounce – Automatically prevents re-sending.

  • Validate Phone Numbers – Runs validation when sending the first SMS (extra charge).

  • Verify Email Address – Validates email on first send (extra charge).

  • SMS Compliance: Opt-Out Message – Enabled by default. Required by law.

  • SMS Compliance: Sender Info – Enabled by default. Required for compliance.

  • Email Compliance: Unsubscribe Link – Enabled by default. Required for compliance.

  • Enable Deprecated Features – Allows legacy Campaigns/Triggers (not recommended; Workflows are superior).

  • Missed Call Text Back – Auto-SMS to missed callers. Includes test option.


Call & Voicemail Settings

  • Upload a voicemail greeting (mp3/WAV).

  • Set incoming call timeout (recommended: 10–20 seconds).


Contact Duplication Preferences

  • Configure how PXME detects duplicates (email first, phone first, or both).

  • Toggle ON/OFF and adjust match rules.
