Using Filters and Bulk Actions

Overview

The Conversations tab in PXME makes it simple to organize, prioritize, and manage messages. With Bulk Actions and Filters, you can efficiently handle multiple conversations at once, saving time and ensuring no lead or patient communication slips through the cracks.

Bulk Actions (up to 100 conversations at a time)

Bulk actions allow you to manage multiple conversations in one step.

Available Bulk Actions

  • Mark as Unread

  • Mark as Read

  • Starred (highlight meaningful conversations you want to revisit)

  • Unstarred

  • Delete unwanted conversations

How It Works

  • Select individual contacts or use Select All to choose all loaded conversations.

  • Bulk actions are limited to 100 conversations at a time. Use Load More to include additional conversations within this limit.

Filters

Filters help you quickly sort and locate the conversations that matter most.

Quick Filters

  • Assigned: Filter by the contact owner.

  • Last Message Direction: Inbound (received) or outbound (sent).

  • Last Outbound Message Type: SMS, email, etc.

  • Last Message Channel: Facebook, Instagram, SMS, etc.

You can also sort conversations:

  • Latest → Oldest

  • Oldest → Latest

⚡ Note: Sorting applies on top of your filters — meaning your results will always reflect both.

Custom Filters

In addition to Quick Filters, you can create custom filters tailored to your workflow. For example:

  • Filter only inbound SMS messages assigned to your name.

  • Filter outbound emails that are older than 7 days.

  • Filter conversations mentioning your team’s Slack integration.

Custom filters provide maximum flexibility so you can structure your inbox around your needs.

Benefits of Using Filters & Sorting

  • Efficiency: Handle multiple conversations with a few clicks.

  • Organization: Keep your inbox clean by filtering messages by type, assignee, or status.

  • Collaboration: Pair filters with internal comments and @mentions for better teamwork.

  • Flexibility: Custom filters let you design your own workflow.
