The Tasks Tab in PXME helps you and your team stay organized by creating, assigning, and tracking tasks in one place. With features like Smart Lists, advanced filtering, recurring tasks, bulk actions, and customizable views, you can ensure nothing slips through the cracks. Whether for client follow-ups, internal coordination, or campaign management, the Tasks Tab is your central hub for productivity.

Step 1: Accessing the Tasks Tab

  1. Go to Contacts in the left-hand menu.

  2. Select Tasks from the top menu.

  3. Your tasks will appear organized into Smart Lists (e.g., Today, Upcoming).


Step 2: Creating a Task

  1. Click + New Task in the top-right corner.

  2. Enter details:

    • Task name

    • Assignee

    • Due date

    • Priority level

    • Recurrence (optional)

  3. Click Save to add it to your list.

Pro Tip: Tasks can also be automatically created via Workflows (e.g., new lead created → assign follow-up task).


Step 3: Managing Your Tasks

Search & Filter

  • Use the search bar for task names.

  • Apply filters for assignee, due date, or linked contact.

Bulk Actions

  • Select multiple tasks with checkboxes.

  • Mark tasks complete, pending, or delete in bulk.

Individual Task Management

  • Pencil icon = Edit

  • Trash icon = Delete

  • Checkmark = Mark complete


Step 4: Setting Up Recurring Tasks

  1. Create a new task in the Tasks Tab.

  2. Toggle Recurring Task on.

  3. Configure:

    • Frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)

    • End condition (never, after X times, or set date)

    • Assignee & details

  4. Click Save to automate.

Pro Tip: Use “Create Even if Overdue” to ensure recurring tasks continue generating, even if the previous one wasn’t completed.


Step 5: Customizing Your View

  • Adjust displayed fields (e.g., due date, priority, assignee).

  • Sort tasks by priority, due date, or custom order.

  • Personalize your workspace to highlight what matters most.

  • Follow-Ups – Create automated follow-up tasks after calls or meetings.

  • Team Coordination – Manage internal responsibilities such as admin work or events.

Q1: Can I create tasks without linking them to a contact?
Yes. Leave the contact field blank to create standalone internal tasks.

Q2: How do I edit a recurring task?
From the Tasks Tab, you can edit either the entire series or just a single occurrence.

Q3: Can I restore deleted recurring tasks?
Yes. Deleted tasks can be restored using recovery options.

Q4: What are Smart Lists?
