Overview
Trigger links are a powerful way to track user interactions and automate responses in PXME. By embedding these links into SMS messages, workflows, or templates, you can capture engagement data and trigger specific actions seamlessly.
Option 1: Through a Conversation
Navigate to the Conversations tab.
Search for and select the contact (lead) you want to send an SMS to.
Switch to the SMS tab.
Click the link icon to add links.
Select Trigger Links and choose the one you need.
Once sent, the trigger link custom value will be replaced with a full link.
Note: Trigger links cannot be short links—they must remain full URLs.
Option 2: Through a Workflow
Open the workflow you’d like to edit.
Add an SMS action.
Inside the SMS composer, click the Trigger Link tab.
Select the trigger link you want to insert.
Save your workflow once everything is configured.
Option 3: Through an SMS Template
Go to Marketing → Templates.
Click Add Text Template.
In the editor, open the Trigger Link tab.
Choose the trigger link you’d like to add.
Save the template.
