Overview
Integrating Microsoft Teams with PXME calendars makes meeting management seamless. Once connected, PXME automatically generates a unique Teams meeting link for every new booking—removing manual steps and improving the scheduling experience for both your team and your patients.
Key Features and Benefits
Automatic Meeting Links – Every booking generates a dynamic Microsoft Teams link automatically.
Seamless Integration – Use Teams as the default meeting location across Personal, Round Robin, Collective, and Service Calendars.
Boosted Productivity – Eliminate manual setup and spend more time in meetings, not on scheduling.
User-Specific Setup – Each team member connects their own Teams account, ensuring personalized link generation.
How to Use Microsoft Teams Integration
Step 1: Connect Your Microsoft Teams Account
Go to Settings > My Profile > Calendar Settings > Video Conferencing.
Click Add New and select Microsoft Teams.
Click Connect and sign in with your Microsoft Teams credentials.
Once authenticated, your Teams account will be connected.
Alternate Path: You can also connect via Calendars > Calendar Settings > Connections.
Step 2: Add Microsoft Teams Links to a Calendar
Go to Calendar Settings and edit the calendar you want to update.
Open the Meeting Details tab.
Under the Team Members section, confirm the assigned user has connected their Teams account.
Select Microsoft Teams as the meeting location.
Click Save.
Now, every booking on that calendar will automatically include a unique Teams link in the invitation.
Step 3: Managing Multiple Accounts
Each user can connect one Microsoft Teams account.
That account can be applied to multiple calendars (Personal, Round Robin, Service).
Team members can connect their own accounts so each meeting link is generated individually.
Event Calendars do not generate dynamic links, but you can manually create a static Teams link in Microsoft Teams and add it as a Custom Location.
Important Notes
Connecting Outlook does not automatically connect Teams—you must connect them separately.
Only Microsoft Work and School accounts (Organization/Education) are supported.
If your Teams login credentials change, you’ll need to re-authenticate inside PXME.
Pro Tips
Round Robin Optimization – Make sure each team member has their Teams account connected to avoid scheduling gaps.
Custom Invitations – PXME automatically inserts Teams links into invitations—no need to edit manually.
Event Calendar Workaround – For recurring events, generate one Teams link in Microsoft Teams and use it as a Custom Location.
