How to Set Up a Personal Booking Calendar

Step 1: Access Calendar Settings

  • Go to Settings > Calendars.

Step 2: Create a New Calendar

  • Click + New Calendar and select Personal Booking.

Step 3: Configure Your Calendar Preferences

Set up:

  • Availability – Define working days, hours, and booking rules.

  • Meeting Duration – Choose how long each appointment lasts.

  • Buffer Time – Add preparation or recovery time around appointments.

  • Integrations – Connect Zoom or Google Meet for virtual scheduling.

Step 4: Save and Share Your Calendar Link

  • After setup, PXME generates a unique booking link to share with clients or patients.


Key Features to Use

  1. Booking Widget – First Available Date

    • Displays the earliest open slot automatically.

    • Found in Availability tab.

    • Works only when Date-Specific Hours are set without weekly recurring hours.

  2. Look Busy

    • Hides a percentage of available slots to encourage faster bookings.

    • Found in Availability tab.

    • Works with Personal, Event, Round Robin, Collective, and Service calendars.

    • Not available for Class Bookings or Service Menus.

  3. Notification Management

    • Customize email and in-app notifications for:

      • Appointment Booked

      • Cancellation

      • Reminder

      • Follow-Up

    • Notifications can be sent via PXME web app or mobile app.

    • Configure specific recipients for better control.

  4. Rescheduling and Cancellations

    • Set time limits for reschedules or cancellations.

    • Links expire after the set timeframe.

    • Rescheduled appointments are tagged with the previous date/time for easy tracking.

  5. Troubleshooting Tool

    • Found in Calendar Settings > Troubleshoot Calendar.

    • Explains why slots are blocked (conflicts, rules, availability).

  6. Language Support

    • The booking widget supports:

      • French (Canada & France)

      • Swedish

      • Finnish

      • Norwegian

Notes

  • The calendar creator is automatically the assigned team member.

  • Unlike Round Robin calendars, the Personal Calendar only supports one user.
