How To Create and Edit Smart Lists

Overview

Smart Lists in PXME let you segment, organize, and manage contacts with precision. By applying filters, you can build dynamic lists that automatically update as contacts meet or no longer meet your criteria. This makes targeting, follow-up, and reporting faster and more efficient.


Creating a Smart List

Step 1: Navigate to Smart Lists

  1. Go to the Contacts section.

  2. Select Smart Lists from the top menu.

Step 2: Add Filters

  1. Click More Filters.

  2. Browse or search available filter options.

    • Example: Use Created By to find contacts added by a specific team member.

    • Example: Use Tag to group contacts by campaign, event, or source.

    • Example: Use Community or Client Portal to find members of specific groups.

Step 3: Review and Save

  1. Your active filters will appear on the right-hand panel.

  2. Combine multiple filters by clicking AND.

  3. Once ready, click Save as Smart List, then name your list.


Managing and Using Smart Lists

  • Access Saved Lists: In Contacts, Smart Lists appear clearly labeled.

  • Edit a List: Open it, adjust filters, and resave.

  • Organize Lists: Use the top-right menu on the Contacts page to copy, share, rename, or delete.


Advanced Filters Available

PXME provides a wide set of filters for deeper segmentation:

  • User-Based: Created By, Last Updated By

  • Communication Preferences: Inbound DND, DND Settings

  • Social IDs: Instagram ID, Facebook ID, Google ID

  • Contact Info: Primary + additional emails, phone numbers

  • Location: Country, Timezone

  • Activity: Last Activity Time, Valid Email status

  • Source Type: Segment contacts by where they originated

  • Website: Filter by associated websites

New columns in Smart List tables now include additional emails, phone numbers, time zones, countries, and websites—providing even richer segmentation.
