Overview

Most people today juggle multiple phone numbers — personal, work, mobile, and even landline. PXME makes it simple to manage this reality by allowing you to store, label, and organize multiple phone numbers under a single contact record.

Adding Multiple Phone Numbers

  1. Go to the Contacts tab.

  2. Create a new contact or open an existing one.

  3. In the phone number field, click the pencil (edit) icon.

  4. A modal window will open where you can add additional numbers.

  5. Use the dropdown menu to assign a label to each number (Home, Mobile, Work, Landline).

    • Each label can only be used once per contact.

  6. To set the primary number, click the radio button next to the desired phone number.

⚠️ Note: Each contact can store up to 11 phone numbers total (including the primary).

Calling an Additional Phone Number

  • From the contact’s detail page, find the number you want to call.

  • Click the Call button next to that number to start the call directly from PXME.

Benefits of Multiple Phone Numbers

  • Flexibility – Store up to 11 numbers per contact so nothing important is lost.

  • Convenience – Add, edit, or update numbers directly from the contact record.

  • Consistency – Always direct communication to the most relevant phone by designating a primary.

  • Clarity – Labels (Home, Mobile, Work, Landline) make it easy to identify the type of each number.

Use Cases

  • Customer Service – If one number doesn’t connect, staff can quickly try another, reducing response time.

  • Sales – Reach leads faster by cycling through available numbers, improving conversion chances.

  • Marketing Campaigns – Target communications to the preferred number for better engagement.

  • Vendor Management – Store multiple vendor numbers in one place for smoother operations.
