How To Create and Use SMS and Email Templates

Overview

SMS and Email templates (called Snippets in PXME) help you save time, maintain consistent messaging, and streamline communication across your practice. Once created, snippets can be reused in workflows, conversations, and bulk actions, allowing you to send messages faster without rewriting the same text.


Step 1: Create an SMS or Email Template

  1. Navigate to Marketing > Snippets.

  2. Click Add Snippet.

  3. Choose whether you want to create an SMS Snippet or an Email Snippet.

  4. Write and customize your message. A live preview will display on the right side.

  5. Click Save when finished.


Step 2: Use Your Template

A. In a Workflow

  1. Go to Automation > Workflows.

  2. Open the workflow you want to edit.

  3. Create or edit the action where you want to insert a message.

  4. Select your saved Snippet from the list.

  5. Save the action.

B. In a Conversation

  1. Navigate to Conversations.

  2. Select the contact you want to message.

  3. Choose your template from the Snippets menu.

  4. Make quick edits if needed.

  5. Send the message.

C. In a Bulk Action

  1. Go to Contacts.

  2. Select the contacts you want to include.

  3. Click the Bulk Action SMS or Bulk Action Email option.

  4. Select your template, make edits if necessary.

  5. Send your bulk action.
