Overview
Tags in PXME are a powerful way to organize, segment, and manage your contacts. With Bulk Actions, you can add or remove tags across multiple contacts at once—whether you’re updating a small Smart List or your entire database. This saves time, reduces manual work, and keeps your records organized and consistent.
Step 1: Choose Your Contacts
Navigate to Contacts or Smart Lists.
Check the box next to each contact you want to include.
To select all contacts on the current page, check the box at the top.
To select all contacts in your account, click the hyperlink that appears after selecting page contacts.
Step 2: Choose Your Action
Adding Tags
Click the Add Tag icon.
In the pop-up, type in a keyword and select one or more tags.
Click Add Tags to apply them.
Example:
Select contacts → choose Add Tag → select “VIP, Referral” → click Add Tags.
Removing Tags
Click the Remove Tag icon.
In the pop-up, type in a keyword and select one or more tags.
Click Remove Tags to remove them.
Example:
Select contacts → choose Remove Tag → select “Inactive” → click Remove Tags.
FAQs
Q1: How do I select all contacts in my list for a bulk action?
Go to Contacts or Smart Lists, check the box at the top to select all on the page. Then click the hyperlink that appears to select all contacts in your account.
Q2: Can I add multiple tags to contacts at once?
Yes. In the pop-up window, type or select as many tags as you want, then click Add Tags.
Q3: How do I remove tags from multiple contacts at once?
Select your contacts, click the Remove Tag icon, choose the tags to remove, and click Remove Tags.
Q4: What happens if I try to add a tag that already exists on a contact?
PXME won’t duplicate tags. The existing tag will simply remain on the contact.
Q5: Can I undo a bulk action if I make a mistake?
There isn’t an “undo” option. To fix a mistake, run another bulk action to add back or remove tags as needed.
