Bulk Actions – Deleting Contacts

Overview

The Bulk Actions feature in PXME allows you to delete multiple contacts at once, helping you maintain a clean and relevant database. This is especially useful when removing outdated, inactive, or duplicate contacts. Keep in mind that deletions are permanent and also remove associated data such as conversations, notes, and appointments.


Step 1: Choose Your Contacts

  • Navigate to Contacts.

  • Check the box next to the contacts you want to delete.

  • To select all contacts on the page, check the box at the top.

  • To select all contacts in your account, click the hyperlink that appears after selecting page contacts.

Step 2: Delete Contacts

  • Click the trashcan icon labeled Delete Contacts.

  • Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Important Note

Deleting a contact will also remove them from:

  • Conversations

  • Notes

  • Opportunities

  • Tasks

  • Appointments

  • Manual Actions

  • Campaigns

This action is permanent and cannot be undone.


Use Cases for Bulk Deleting Contacts

  1. Cleaning Up Old or Inactive Contacts

    • Scenario: Your database contains outdated or inactive contacts.

    • Action: Use Bulk Delete to remove them.

    • Outcome: Your list stays relevant, improving efficiency in marketing and communication.

  2. Removing Duplicate Contacts

    • Scenario: Duplicate contacts have been added to the system.

    • Action: Use Bulk Delete to remove duplicates.

    • Outcome: Reduced redundancy and improved communication accuracy.

A: Check the boxes next to each contact you want to delete. To select all contacts on the page, use the box at the top. To select all contacts in your account, click the hyperlink after selecting page contacts.
