Overview

Contacts may be deleted for various reasons—whether outdated, no longer a lead, or by mistake. In PXME, deleted contacts aren’t lost permanently. You can easily restore them, either individually or in bulk, so that valuable data and history remain intact.

Step 1: Deleting Contacts

There are two ways to delete contacts:

  1. From the Contacts tab, select one or more records and click the trashcan icon.

  2. From within an individual contact record, select the delete option.

Step 2: Restoring Contacts

PXME provides two restore options: Individual Restore and Bulk Restore.

Option A: Restore Contacts Individually

  1. Go to Contacts > Restore.

  2. Check the box next to the contact(s) you want to restore.

  3. Click Restore in the top-right corner.

  4. Confirm in the popup window.

  5. The restored contact(s) will immediately reappear in your main Contacts list.

Option B: Restore Contacts in Bulk

  1. Go to Contacts > Bulk Actions.

  2. Open the 3-dot Actions menu.

  3. Select Restore.

  4. The contacts will be re-added to your list.

  5. Monitor progress in the Bulk Actions list—once the Status shows “Complete,” the process is finished.

You can also restore multiple contacts directly from the Restore tab by selecting them in bulk.
