Overview
Adding an Australian phone number in PXMP allows you to connect seamlessly with Australian patients and contacts through calls and SMS. Due to government regulations, you must first create and verify a Regulatory Bundle tied to your official business information. Once approved, you can purchase and use local Australian numbers directly within your PXMP account.
Step 1: Navigate to Settings
Go to Settings in the bottom-left sidebar menu of your PXMP account.
Step 2: Access Phone Numbers
Click Phone Numbers to view, manage, and add new numbers.
Step 3: Create an Address Bundle
Inside Phone Numbers, select Address Bundle.
Click Create (top-right corner).
Choose Address Bundle and enter your business details exactly as they appear on your legal documents.
Step 4: Fill Out Address Bundle Details
Provide the following information (case-sensitive and must match your ASIC record):
Legal business name
Registered business address
Other required business details
Step 5: Create the Regulatory Bundle
Return to the Create menu and choose Regulatory Bundle.
Select Australia as the country.
Set the type as Mobile.
Upload your identifying document: ASIC registration record (PDF).
How to Get Your ASIC Record
Visit ABN Lookup.
Search using your ABN or Company Name.
Under “Search ASIC Registers,” select Organisation and Business Names.
Download the record as a PDF.
Upload the PDF during bundle creation.
Step 6: Await Approval
Approval usually takes up to 24 hours.
If delayed, verify that all details (including capitalization) match your ASIC record exactly.
Step 7: Add Your Australian Phone Number
Once approved, return to Phone Numbers.
Click Add a phone number.
Select Australia, choose your area code, and pick from the available options.
Add the number to your account and start using it for calls and SMS.
