The Phone Numbers section in PXME allows you to add individual phone numbers or set up advanced Number Pools for precise call tracking. These tools help you establish communication channels, attribute calls to specific campaigns, and measure ROI with accuracy.
Adding Phone Numbers
Step 1: Navigate to Phone Numbers
Go to Settings → Phone Numbers.
Step 2: Add a Phone Number
Click + Add Phone Number.
Search by country, filter by digits or phrases, and refine by:
Capabilities (SMS, Voice)
Number Type (Local, Toll-Free)
Step 3: Select and Purchase
Choose your preferred number.
Click Proceed to Buy.
⚠️ Note: Area code availability may change. If your preferred code isn’t available, alternative options will be suggested.
Number Pools for Enhanced Tracking
Number Pools (also called call tracking codes) allow you to assign specific numbers to landing pages, campaigns, or regions. This makes it easy to identify exactly where each call originated.
Step 1: Access Number Pools
Go to Phone Numbers.
Click + Add Number → Add Pool Number.
Step 2: Create and Configure a Pool
Categorize pools by campaign, region, or purpose.
Define what aspects to track and who to track.
Complete the required details for your pool.
Step 3: Manage Numbers Within Pools
Move numbers between pools.
Add new numbers from the general list.
Remove numbers without deleting the entire pool.
This flexibility makes it easy to adapt tracking as campaigns evolve.
Edit and Delete Functions
Inside Phone Numbers:
Use the Edit icon to update number details.
Use the Trash icon to remove unneeded numbers.
Keeping numbers updated and organized ensures accurate call tracking.
