Overview

Google Postmaster Tools gives you visibility into how Gmail evaluates your emails. By integrating it with PXME’s Email Services module, you can monitor domain and IP reputation, spam feedback, authentication status, and delivery issues — all crucial for improving inbox placement and sender reputation.

Key Features

  • Domain & IP Reputation Tracking – See how Gmail rates your sending behavior.

  • Spam Feedback Monitoring – Track complaint rates to spot targeting or content issues.

  • Authentication Checks – Confirm SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are passing.

  • Delivery Insights – Identify Gmail-specific deliverability problems.

Why Use Google Postmaster Tools?

  • Increases transparency into Gmail’s filtering process.

  • Helps maintain and protect sender reputation.

  • Reduces spam complaints and improves inbox placement.

  • Essential for bulk senders, marketers, and practices where email deliverability drives growth.

How to Set Up Google Postmaster Tools

Step 1: Sign In

Step 2: Add Your Domain

  • Enter your sending domain.

  • Make sure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are already configured.

Step 3: Verify Domain Ownership

  • Google provides a TXT record.

  • Add it to your domain’s DNS settings (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, etc.).

  • Verification completes once DNS propagates.

Step 4: Start Monitoring

  • Data will begin appearing in your Postmaster dashboard within a few days.

Usually 2–3 days after domain verification.

Q4: Can I track multiple domains?
Yes, but each domain must be added and verified separately.

Q5: What if my IP reputation is low?
