Overview

Reusing existing email templates from other platforms saves time and keeps your branding consistent. PXME supports direct imports from Active Campaign, Mailchimp, and Kajabi, as well as manual imports via HTML in the Code Editor. This guide explains both methods step by step so you can seamlessly bring your designs into PXME.

Part 1: Importing Templates from Active Campaign, Mailchimp, and Kajabi

What You’ll Need

  • An Active Campaign, Mailchimp, or Kajabi account

  • Your PXME account login

Step 1: Locate Templates in Your Existing Platform

Active Campaign

  1. Go to Campaigns > Campaign Templates.

  2. Hover over your template and click the gear icon.

  3. Select Share and copy the link provided.

  4. Save the URL for importing into PXME.
Note: To import full campaigns, first save them as templates in Active Campaign.

Mailchimp

  1. Navigate to the campaign you want to import.

  2. Click + New > Import Email.

  3. Choose the source (Active Campaign, Mailchimp, Kajabi, or Other).

  4. Paste the campaign URL (Active Campaign/Mailchimp) or send the email (Kajabi/other).

  5. Preview the imported template.

  7. Open and edit in the Code Editor if adjustments are needed.

Part 2: Importing HTML Email Templates

Step 1: Open the Email Builder

  1. Go to Marketing > Emails > Campaigns or Templates.

  2. Click + New > Blank Template > Code Editor.

Step 2: Paste HTML Code

  1. Copy the HTML code from your external platform.

  2. In PXME’s Code Editor, delete placeholder code.

  3. Paste your HTML into the left-hand panel.

  4. Review the live preview on the right-hand side.

Step 3: Finalize the Template

  • Check layout, images, and links.

  • Fix any missing tags or broken references.

  • Save the template for use in campaigns and workflows.
