Overview
Sometimes contacts are added to workflows by mistake or need to be moved forward without waiting for the next step. PXME makes it easy to manage contacts inside workflows by either moving them to the next step or removing them entirely.
Step 1: Access Your Workflow
Go to Automation > Workflows.
Select the workflow where the contact(s) are currently enrolled.
Option 1: Manage Contacts from the Action Step
When a workflow step has active contacts, a user icon will appear at the top of that step.
Click the user icon to view a list of all contacts waiting in that step.
For each contact, you’ll see two options:
Trash Can – Removes the contact(s) from the workflow entirely.
Running Man – Moves the contact(s) to the next step of the workflow.
⚠️ Note: If you click these icons directly from the step, the action will apply to all contacts currently in that step.
Option 2: Manage Contacts from the Enrollment History Tab
If you want to manage contacts individually, use the Enrollment History tab in the workflow builder.
Navigate to the Enrollment History tab at the top of the workflow.
You’ll see a list of all contacts currently enrolled, along with the step they are in.
For each contact, you can:
Delete – Removes that contact from the workflow.
Move to Next Step – Pushes that contact forward to the next step.
This option gives you more control, since actions only apply to the specific contact you select.

Trash Can removes all contacts from that step and the workflow.
Running Man moves all contacts in that step to the next step.
Q3: How do I see all contacts and their current workflow step?
A: Go to the Enrollment History tab to see a full list of enrolled contacts and where they are in the workflow.
