Overview
Surveys and forms in PXME are powerful tools for capturing lead information and gathering insights about your services. Once responses are submitted, you can easily locate them, review individual answers, and export the data for deeper analysis in spreadsheets or third-party tools.
Finding Survey and Form Answers
Option 1: Within Specific Contact Records
Navigate to Contacts
Open the contact record of the person who submitted the form or survey
Expand Additional Information and other relevant folders on the left
Review the responses associated with that contact
Option 2: Submissions Area
For Forms:
Navigate to Sites > Form Builder > Submissions
Click Submissions to view all answers
Use the search bar to locate a specific contact, or apply filters such as date ranges
Select a submission to download its contents as a CSV file
For Surveys:
Navigate to Surveys > Submissions
Browse, search, or filter responses just like in forms
View individual submissions or download them for review
Exporting Data to Google Sheets
Export Data
From the Submissions area, export form or survey data as a CSV file
Alternatively, from Contacts, select a group of contacts and click Export Contacts
Upload to Google Sheets
Open Google Sheets
Go to File > Import
Upload the CSV file
Your data will now be available for analysis, filtering, and reporting
FAQs
Q1: Can I export individual responses or only the entire dataset?
Exports are currently done as full datasets in CSV format. Individual responses can be viewed in the Submissions area but not exported separately.
Q2: How do I filter submissions by specific criteria?
In the Submissions area, filter by date range or search by contact to locate specific responses.
Q3: What if I need more detailed analytics than Google Sheets?
For advanced reporting, integrate with specialized analytics tools that offer dashboards, trend analysis, and deeper visualization.
Q4: Is there a limit to how many records I can export?
Exports support large datasets, though performance may vary depending on file size and number of records.
Q5: Can I automate the export process to Google Sheets?
Yes. Automation can be set up using third-party integrations (e.g., Zapier, Make) or custom scripts.
