Overview
Email verification helps ensure that every email address collected through your forms and surveys is real, valid, and accessible. By requiring verification, you prevent fake or mistyped addresses, improve deliverability, and ensure your follow-up communications reach the right people.
Steps to Enable Email Validation in Forms
Navigate to Sites
Go to the Sites tab in the left navigation menu.
Open Forms
Select Forms from the top menu.
Create or Edit a Form
Click + Add Form to create a new form, or choose Edit on an existing form.
Edit the Email Field
Inside the Form Builder, click on the Email field.
Enable Email Validation
In the settings panel on the right, toggle Validate Email to ON.
This adds a Verify Email button to the form.
How Email Verification Works for Users
A visitor enters their email address.
They click Verify Email.
An OTP (One-Time Password) is sent to their inbox.
They enter the OTP in the form.
Once validated, the email is marked as Verified.
If an email is not validated, the form/survey submission will not be accepted.

Custom Fields & Values in Notifications
Include custom fields or values in notifications to make follow-ups more personalized.
Reply-To Email Field
Set the Reply-To Email dynamically so your team can respond directly to the submitter.
Example: use
{{contact.email}}to make replies go straight to the lead’s inbox.
How to Enable:
Open Notification Settings (bell icon).
Turn on Email Notifications.
Locate the Reply-To Email field and select your custom value.
