A2P Brand Registration

Overview

Before your practice can send text messages or make phone calls through PXME, you must complete the A2P Brand Registration process. This is a legal compliance requirement for SMS carriers, and it verifies your business identity to ensure deliverability and protect against spam.

This process has two parts:

  1. Updating your Business Profile

  2. Submitting your A2P Brand Registration Application


Step 1: Update Your Business Profile

  • In PXME, go to Settings → Business Profile.

  • Enter the following information accurately:

    • Business name (legal entity name)

    • Business address (legal address, not a P.O. box)

    • Authorized representative (full name and contact details)

    • Business type (LLC, S-Corp, Sole Proprietor, etc.)

✅ This information ensures your business can be legally verified before text messaging is enabled.


Step 2: Submit the A2P Brand Registration Application

  • Go to Settings → Phone Numbers.

  • At the top of the page, select Trust Center.

  • Scroll down and click Start Registering Now.

  • Fill out the required fields, including:

    • Business details (from your Business Profile)

    • EIN / Tax ID number

    • Website URL

    • Industry and business category

    • Authorized representative information

  • Submit the application. PXME will automatically forward this to carriers for review.


Processing & Approval

  • Approval typically takes 3–10 business days, depending on carrier processing times.

  • Once approved, PXME will notify you by email.

  • After approval, you can:

    • Assign your phone number

    • Begin sending and receiving text messages

    • Make and receive phone calls directly in PXME


Best Practices for Approval

  • Make sure your business name matches your EIN/tax documents.

  • Use a real physical business address (not a P.O. box).

  • Double-check that your website is live and accurately represents your practice.

  • Ensure your authorized representative’s contact information is correct.


Next Steps

After approval:

  • Purchase and assign a phone number in Settings → Phone Numbers → Manage Numbers.

  • Test sending and receiving SMS inside Conversations.

  • Connect automations that use SMS (workshops, reminders, vouchers, etc.).

✅ Once complete, your PXME account will be fully SMS and call-enabled, ready to power campaigns and patient communication.
