Overview
The Platform Tour gives you a walkthrough of the PXME dashboard and navigation so you know where to find the tools, campaigns, and reports you’ll be using every day. This article summarizes the key areas covered in the training video and shows you how to make PXME work for your role in the practice.
1. The PXME Dashboard
When you log into PXME, you’ll land on the Dashboard.
The dashboard is fully customizable with widgets — blocks of information such as stats, calendars, or tasks.
You can edit the dashboard by clicking the Edit Dashboard button in the top right corner.
Drag and drop widgets to arrange them however you like.
Best Practices:
If you’re the business owner, place performance stats at the top for quick visibility.
If you’re a front desk or sales team member, prioritize upcoming appointments and opportunity follow-ups.
2. Navigation Bar
On the left-hand side of the screen is the PXME Navigation Bar, which gives you access to all major tools and features:
Dashboard – Overview of your activity and performance
Conversations – Central inbox for SMS, email, and chat messages
Calendars – Appointment scheduling and availability
Contacts – All patients and leads stored in PXME
Opportunities – Pipelines to track where leads are in the patient journey
Marketing – Email, SMS, social posts, ads, and reputation tools
Automation – Workflows for follow-ups, campaigns, and reminders
Sites – Funnels, landing pages, and websites
Reporting – Performance tracking for leads, ads, and campaigns
Settings – Practice details, integrations, domains, and user permissions
3. Customizing PXME for Your Role
PXME is designed to work for different members of your team:
Owners – Focus on reporting, ROI dashboards, and performance metrics
Front Desk Staff – Use calendars, opportunities, and conversations for daily patient communication and scheduling
Marketing Team – Spend most time in Marketing, Sites, and Automations for campaigns and promotions
By customizing your dashboard and knowing where to navigate, each role can streamline their workflow in PXME.
4. Key Takeaways from the Tour
The Dashboard is your customizable homepage with editable widgets.
The Navigation Bar on the left gives you access to every feature.
Each role in your practice can configure PXME differently to fit their daily responsibilities.
Once you’re familiar with the layout, you’ll spend less time searching for tools and more time running campaigns and helping patients.
