Overview
Blocking off time in PXME ensures your calendar reflects when you’re unavailable. This can be used for personal commitments, team meetings, vacations, or simply to reserve space in your schedule. You can add blocked time either through the appointment list view or directly from the in-app calendar view.
Method 1: Add Blocked Time via Appointment
Navigate to Appointments
Go to Calendars > Appointment List View.
Click + New Appointment.
Choose Blocked Off Time
In the pop-up, select Blocked Off Time.
Use the User dropdown to choose whose calendar you want to block.
Note: You can be viewing one user’s calendar (e.g., John) but block time on another user’s calendar (e.g., Sally) by selecting them here.
Fill Out the Details
Enter timezone, start and end time, and a clear title/description for the blocked time.
Save Blocked Time
Click Block Time to confirm.
The blocked period will now appear on the chosen calendar.
Method 2: Add Blocked Time Directly in the Calendar
Open the Calendar Tab
Go to Calendars and select a User Calendar, System Calendar, or Group Calendar.
Select the Time Range
Click and drag across the desired start and end time, or
Click + New in the top-right corner.

Save
Click Save to finalize.
The blocked time will now appear in the calendar.
