Overview
Integrating your Outlook Calendar with PXME ensures that your appointments and availability stay consistent across both platforms. This prevents double-bookings, streamlines scheduling, and makes it easier to manage your time whether you’re using PXME or Outlook.
Supported Outlook accounts include:
Outlook.com
Office 365
live.com
Hotmail
⚠️ Only one Outlook account can be connected per PXME user at a time.
Step 1: Connect Outlook to PXME
Go to Settings > Profile.
Scroll to Calendar Settings.
Click Connect next to Outlook Calendar.
Step 2: Configure Outlook Integration
Go to Settings > Profile again.
Under Calendar Configuration, find Primary Calendar and click Edit.
Select your Outlook account and choose which Outlook calendar to sync.
Primary Calendar Behavior
Reads: Imports all events from your connected Outlook account.
Writes: Sends all PXME appointments into your Outlook calendar.
Checking for Conflicts
Go to Check for Conflicts and click Edit.
Choose which Outlook calendar PXME should check against.
This ensures PXME will not schedule over existing Outlook events.
Troubleshooting Sync Issues
If appointments aren’t syncing:
Go to Primary Calendar settings.
Select Do not sync events to the primary calendar > Save.
Reselect the same calendar and save again.
This usually resolves sync errors.
Step 3: Manage Notifications for Third-Party Calendars
PXME gives you control over Outlook’s default email notifications.
Go to Calendar Settings.
Find Notifications & Additional Options.
Check or uncheck:
Allow Google/Outlook to send invitation & update emails to attendees.
This determines whether clients receive Outlook-generated meeting notifications.
