Overview
A dedicated IP address ensures that all your PXME emails are sent from an exclusive IP rather than a shared pool. This gives you full control over your sending reputation, deliverability, and performance.
Email service providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.) monitor the reputation of sending IPs. On a shared IP, your deliverability can be affected by other senders’ behavior. With a dedicated IP, your reputation is based solely on your own sending practices.
When Should You Get a Dedicated IP?
Consider a dedicated IP if:
You send 200,000+ emails per month.
Your contact list exceeds 100,000 records.
Email deliverability is critical to your growth strategy.
You want complete control over authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, SSL) and stronger protection against spoofing.
Benefits of a Dedicated IP
Enhanced Deliverability
Faster delivery rates (providers prefer trusted dedicated IPs).
Independent performance not impacted by other senders.
Complete Reputation Control
Reputation is tied only to your sending practices.
No risk from other businesses sending spammy content.
Simplified Troubleshooting
Easier diagnosis since only your traffic flows through the IP.
Boosted Cybersecurity
Better defense against spoofing, phishing, domain hijacking, and malware.
Best Practices for Dedicated IPs
Warm Up Gradually – Slowly increase sending volume to build trust.
Send Consistently – Avoid sporadic, high-volume bursts.
Maintain Minimum Volume – At least 50,000 emails/week is recommended.
Scale Strategically – Use one dedicated IP per 1M emails/month.
Avoid Sudden Spikes – Ramp up steadily to prevent throttling or blacklisting.
Tip: If your volume is irregular, a shared IP may perform better, since consistent traffic from other senders helps stabilize reputation.
How to Set Up a Dedicated IP in PXME
Go to Settings > Email Services.
Under the LeadConnector Email Provider section, click Dedicated Domain and IP.
Click Buy IP.
After purchase, assign the IP to your domain:
Click the three dots next to the new IP.
Assign it to the desired sending domain.
Notes:
You can assign multiple IPs to one domain.
If multiple IPs are tied to a domain, PXME uses round-robin rotation to distribute traffic evenly.
