Overview
The Meta Pixel is a tracking tool from Meta (formerly Facebook) that allows you to measure visitor activity on your PXME websites and funnels. By installing the Pixel, you can track conversions, improve ad targeting, and build custom audiences for retargeting campaigns. Setting it up inside PXME ensures your ads are optimized and your marketing results are measurable.
Step 1: Create Your Meta Pixel
Log in to your Meta Business Portfolio.
Go to Events Manager from the left-hand menu.
Click + Connect Data Sources → Web.
Select Meta Pixel and click Connect.
Enter a name for your Pixel (e.g., “PXME Website Pixel”).
Enter your website URL if prompted, then click Continue.
Step 2: Copy Your Pixel ID
Once the Pixel is created, you’ll see a Pixel ID (a string of numbers).
Copy this ID — you’ll need it to connect PXME with Meta.
Step 3: Add the Pixel to PXME
Log in to your PXME account.
From the left-hand menu, go to Settings.
Click Integrations → Meta Pixel.
Paste your Pixel ID into the field provided.
Click Save.
Step 4: Add Pixel to Your Funnel or Website
In PXME, go to Sites and select your funnel or website.
Open Settings for that funnel/site.
Paste your Pixel ID under Tracking Codes.
Save and publish your changes.
Step 5: Verify Pixel Installation
Return to Events Manager in your Meta Business Portfolio.
Open your Pixel and check its Status.
Visit your PXME website or funnel in a new browser window.
Refresh Events Manager — the Pixel status should switch to Active once it begins receiving data.
Troubleshooting
Pixel not showing as active? Double-check that the Pixel ID is entered correctly in PXME.
Still inactive? Install the Meta Pixel Helper Chrome extension to test and diagnose errors.
Running multiple sites? Repeat the setup process for each funnel/website where tracking is needed.
