Overview
The Meta Conversions API (CAPI) allows PXME to send key events — such as form submissions, appointments, and purchases — directly from PXME’s servers to Meta. Unlike the Pixel, which relies on browser-based tracking, CAPI ensures more reliable and accurate data collection. This is especially critical with the rise of ad blockers, iOS privacy restrictions, and other browser limitations.
For the most accurate reporting and campaign optimization, always use Pixel + Conversions API together.
Step 1: Access Conversions API Setup in PXME
Log into PXME.
Navigate to Automations → Facebook Conversions API.
Select Add Integration.
Step 2: Connect to Meta Business Suite
PXME will prompt you to log in with your Meta Business Suite credentials.
Choose the correct Business Account.
Select your Ad Account.
Select your Pixel (must be the same one already added in PXME).
Authorize PXME to send events via the Conversions API.
Step 3: Configure Events
In PXME, map your business’s most important actions to Meta’s standard events:
Lead → Form submitted
Purchase → Successful payment
Schedule → Appointment booked
ViewContent → Page viewed
This ensures Meta recognizes the actions and optimizes your campaigns accordingly.
Step 4: Test Your Setup
In Meta Business Suite → Events Manager, select your Pixel.
Open the Test Events tab.
Perform a test action in PXME (e.g., submit a form).
Confirm the event appears in Meta’s Events Manager.
Step 5: Best Practices
Always run Pixel + Conversions API together for redundancy.
Only send the most valuable events — avoid duplicates that can confuse Meta’s optimization.
Periodically check Event Match Quality inside Meta to improve tracking accuracy.
If results look incorrect or data stops syncing, re-authenticate PXME’s connection to Meta Business Suite.
