Overview

After creating your campaign, ad set, and ad creative in Meta Ads Manager, the final step is to review and publish your ads. This step ensures that your settings, targeting, and creatives are aligned with your strategy before Meta’s review process begins. Following this checklist reduces the risk of errors, wasted budget, or ad disapproval.

Step 1: Review Campaign Setup

  1. Navigate to Meta Ads Manager.

  2. Open your draft campaign.

  3. Confirm the campaign objective matches your goal (Leads, Traffic, Engagement, or Sales).

  4. Double-check if Campaign Budget Optimization (CBO) is on or off based on your strategy.

Step 2: Check Ad Set Details

Open your Ad Set and verify:

  • Correct Pixel is selected.

  • Right Conversion Event is chosen (e.g., “Lead” for form submissions).

  • Budget & Schedule are set properly.

  • Audience targeting is accurate (custom, lookalike, demographics, or interests).

  • Placements are correct (Advantage+ Placements recommended, or Manual if specified).

Step 3: Review Ad Creative

Inside your Ad, confirm that:

  • The correct Facebook Page and Instagram Account are selected.

  • The chosen Ad Format (Single Image, Carousel, or Video) is correct.

  • The Media (image/video) is uploaded correctly.

  • Primary Text, Headline, and Description match your messaging.

  • The Destination URL links to the correct PXME landing page.

  • The Call-to-Action (CTA) button is accurate (e.g., “Sign Up” or “Learn More”).

Step 4: Preview Your Ads

Use the Ad Preview Tool to see how your ad appears across placements:

  • Facebook News Feed

  • Instagram Feed

  • Instagram Stories/Reels

  • Audience Network

Confirm design, text, and links display correctly across devices.

Step 5: Confirm and Publish

  1. Once everything looks correct, click Publish in the top right corner.

  2. Meta will begin the ad review process (usually a few minutes to 24 hours).

  3. After approval, your campaign will go live and start delivering.

Best Practices Before Publishing

  • Triple-check all links to avoid broken URLs or wasted spend.

  • Keep naming conventions clear for campaigns, ad sets, and ads.

  • Test 2–3 ad creative variations to identify top performers.

  • Confirm Pixel + Conversions API are properly set up and tracking.
