Overview

The Marketing Audit Report is a diagnostic tool designed to provide a complete snapshot of your business’s (or sub-account’s) marketing and operational health. By analyzing your digital footprint and comparing against competitors, the report helps uncover growth opportunities, highlight strengths and weaknesses, and reinforce your value to clients.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Measure Business Health at a Glance – Quickly see how your business performs across multiple areas of marketing and operations.

  • Reinforce Your Value – Show clients the measurable improvements you’ve driven in their online presence.

  • Boost Visibility into Key Metrics – Access actionable insights to guide decision-making and optimize strategy.

What Does the Audit Include?

The report evaluates several aspects of your digital presence:

  • Google Business Profile Audit – Checks profile completeness, accuracy, and optimization.

  • Website Performance Audit – Reviews site speed, mobile responsiveness, SEO readiness, and usability.

  • Local SEO Heatmap – Maps your business’s search rankings across keywords and geographic regions.

  • Listings Analysis – Validates accuracy and consistency of business info across platforms.

  • Online Reviews Audit – Evaluates review volume, sentiment, and responsiveness to track reputation.

  • Business Detail Accuracy Check – Ensures core NAP (Name, Address, Phone) data is correct everywhere.

How to Generate the Marketing Audit Report

  1. Navigate to Account > Reporting > Audit Report.

  2. Click Generate Report Now.

  3. Wait a few moments while the report is created.

  4. Sub-account admins will receive an email notification once the report is ready.

⚠️ Important Note: If the report fails, confirm that the location’s profile includes a valid Google Place ID URL under social links. If missing, the system will attempt to pull it from GBP integrations. Without a Place ID, the audit cannot run.

Competitive Analysis in the Marketing Audit

Adding Competitors

  1. After generating your audit, go to the Compare Reports tab.

  2. Enter details for up to three competitors.

  3. Click Compare Reports to generate benchmarking insights.

  • Online Reputation Comparison – Review volume, sentiment, and engagement compared side by side.

⚠️ This analysis is based on publicly available data. Keep your listings and reviews accurate for the best results.

Pro Tips

  • Run Regular Audits – Perform audits at least monthly to track progress and catch new opportunities.
