Setting Up Your Workshop

Overview

Workshops in PXME are powered by custom values that automatically pull in your workshop details—such as date, time, and location—into emails, SMS, landing pages, and automations. This setup ensures consistency across all assets while saving you time from manual updates.

Step 1: Submit the Workshop Update Form

  1. Open the Workshop Update Form.

  2. Enter your workshop details, including date, time, location, and address.

  3. Submit the form.

Once submitted, PXME automatically updates your custom values. These values flow into all your connected assets (emails, SMS reminders, landing pages, confirmations, etc.).

Pro Tip: If you update your workshop details later, simply resubmit the form once—PXME updates everything automatically.

Step 2: Edit Your Templates

Even after custom values are updated, you’ll still need to personalize your content.

Email & SMS Templates

  • Go to your workshop folders.

  • Look for templates labeled with [EDIT].

  • Open each template and update:

    • Text and messaging.

    • Images and visuals.

    • Any branding or voice adjustments for your practice.

  • Save your changes.

Landing Page

  • Navigate to your workshop landing page.

  • Replace placeholder content and imagery.

  • Make sure the messaging reflects your workshop details and matches your practice branding.

Step 3: Understand 1st vs. 2nd Event

  • 1st Event → Your active workshop. All automations pull from this set of custom values.

  • 2nd Event → Optional slot for practices running more than one workshop at the same time. If you only run a single workshop, you won’t need this.

Step 4: Confirm Everything is Ready

  • Review your emails, SMS reminders, and landing page to confirm custom values (date, time, address) display correctly.

  • Test links and buttons to ensure the registration flow works smoothly.

Key Takeaway

  1. Submit the Workshop Update Form to set or update your workshop details.

  2. Edit the [EDIT] templates (emails and SMS) and your landing page to personalize content.

  3. Use the 1st Event for your main workshop, and the 2nd Event only if you’re running multiple workshops at once.
